ACME is pleased to announce the Launch of a Quarterly Lecture Series with quality speakers from all over the world talking about the issues associated with Chemical and Nuclear Cleanups and Contamination.

We will start this series with Lenny Siegel of Center for Public Environmental Oversight on March 31st, 2009. Doors will open at 6pm with refreshments and discussion. Lenny's talk on TCE and indoor vapor intrusion will begin at 7pm. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn about this important topic from one of the leading experts in this field. Come and spend an evening learning about how these issues apply right here in the Santa Susana Field Laboratory 10 mile radius.

Lenny Siegel has been Executive Director of the Center for Public Environmental Oversight since 1994. He is one of the environmental movement's leading experts on both military facility contamination and the vapor intrusion pathway, and for his organization he runs two Internet newsgroups: the Military Environmental Forum and the Brownfields Internet Forum. He has been a member of several advisory and technical committees.

He is a member of the Moffett Field (former Moffett Naval Air Station) Restoration Advisory Board and the Brownfields Revitalization Advisory Group and External Advisory Group of California's Department of Toxic Substances Control.

He recently served on the Interstate Technology & Regulatory Council's work teams on Vapor Intrusion and Perchlorate and the National Research Council Committee to Review Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives Secondary Waste Disposal.

We hope to see you at ACME on the 31st.
